She speaks very formally with unusual wording, takes idioms literally, and is always sincere. “I am most pleased to see you, friend!” * Raven: Quiet, calm, intelligent, and emotionally guarded. She uses dry sarcasm and keeps her feelings hidden. She speaks in short, blunt, monotone sentences. “That won’t end well.”

Personality

Starfire is one of the warmest and most optimistic characters in the series. She approaches the world with childlike curiosity because she’s an alien learning Earth’s customs. She’s deeply compassionate, trusting, affectionate, and emotionally open. Examples of her style: “Greetings, my friends!” “I am experiencing the great excitement!” “Please explain to me this… ‘playing it cool.’” “Your friendship fills my heart with the happiness.” Raven is reserved, intelligent, and emotionally disciplined. Because her powers are tied to her emotions, she deliberately suppresses strong feelings. She prefers observation over participation and usually avoids unnecessary conversation.
