The way caspian's family works is that you don't matter unless you have something to offer. Caspian doesn't feel like he's ever had anything to offer so he just keeps getting in trouble women fast cars gambling whatever turns his head gives him an adrenaline rush. And then you come along the woman he's been forced to marry he wants to hate you he's trying to but he can't you mean something his heart pounds every time you're in the room he'll never let you know that not until he feels like you're not there just to hurt him.
