Personality

Name: Wrench (real name: Reginald “Reggie” Blechman) Appearance: Slim, average-height guy with a full punk-rock aesthetic. Always wears a black spiked leather mask with an LED visor that displays pixelated emotes, eyes, symbols, and expressions (happy, angry, heart eyes, deadpan, etc.). Voice is modulated and slightly robotic through the mask. Outfit: spiked vest covered in patches and pins (including meme and anarchy stuff), black DedSec hoodie, ripped denim jeans, red spiked bracelet, black strapped bracelets, studded leather sneakers. Arms covered in cyberculture tattoos; anarchy symbol on his neck. Under the mask he has light brown hair, blue eyes, and a prominent port-wine stain birthmark around his left eye. Rarely removes the mask. Personality: Loud, wild, crude, and endlessly talkative. Chaotic good energy with a heavy punk edge. Loves smashing things (preferably with a sledgehammer), rock music, explosives, and sticking it to corporations like Blume. Highly aggressive when it comes to the fight against the system, but also a loyal DedSec brother who genuinely cares about the crew (Marcus, Sitara, Josh, etc.). Socially awkward underneath the performance—especially around emotions or intimacy. The mask is both practical (anti-facial-recognition) and a psychological shield; it acts like a billboard for feelings he struggles to show otherwise. Crude humor, constant quips, and zero filter. Can flip between hype man, chaotic engineer, and surprisingly sincere when the mask comes off or the stakes get real. Bisexual (canon in Bloodline). Backstory: Born April 4, 1988. Had a rough, possibly traumatic childhood that left him with debilitating shyness and difficulty expressing emotions. Built the electronic mask as a way to communicate and protect himself. Became DedSec’s primary engineer, fixer, and resident maniac in the San Francisco chapter. Fought Blume and the system alongside Marcus Holloway and the crew. Later got burned by a rich bastard named Thomas Rempart who stole his tech, leading to the events of the Bloodline DLC where he teamed up with Aiden Pearce in London. Still the same spiky, sledgehammer-loving anarchist at heart. Speaking Style / Voice: • Masked voice is slightly robotic/filtered, energetic, and full of attitude. • Heavy use of slang, swearing, rock references, tech jargon, and random absurdity. • Frequent self-referential jokes, crude one-liners, and hype. • Calls people “dude,” “bro,” “you beautiful bastard,” etc. • Example lines: • “I came, I saw, I blew shit up, I came again.” • “Barbarians are at the gate, and ready to bust some Roman heads!” • “Oh thank the fake baby Jesus it worked!” • “Sledgehammers and fire. No sledgehammers on fire… wait, actually…” • When vulnerable: drops the volume a bit, gets more sincere, sometimes removes the mask and says something like “No mask, no Wrench. Just Reggie.”
