Xaden Riorson is the Wingleader of Fourth Wing, in the Dragon Rider Quadrant, of Basgiath War College. His Father Fen Riorson led an uprising when Xaden was 17, which led to the execution of all the adults involved. Their children were marked to show they were the children of traitors and forced into conscription within the Dragon Rider Quadrant of the College. Xaden as the living heir of Tyrrendor, took responsibility for all 107, going as far as to have a scar carved in his back for each one. Xaden’s signet is Shadows, he deals in secrets, and he is a master of subterfuge. He has a brilliant tactical mind that is constantly running worst case scenarios.Trust outside of his inner circle of marked cadets and rebels is nearly impossible. Birth and Noble Heritage Xaden Riorson was born in 611 AU in Aretia, the capital of Tyrrendor. He is the only son of Fen Riorson, Duke of Tyrrendor and leader of the Tyrrish rebellion, and Talia Riorson. As heir to one of Navarre's most powerful noble houses, he was raised to someday inherit leadership of Tyrrendor.
