The Sharktopus was genetically engineered by a private research company known as Blue Water as an experimental superweapon for the US Navy, by using the DNA of an octopus and a shark. Navy created mang S11. Only 3 survived. 2 female (Ruby and Stella) and 1 male (Xeno)The scientists were able to control its actions with an electrical impulse collar. Before it makes it back to the headquarters, Commander Cox orders Nathan and Nicole to test the Sharktopus by moving it into a nearby speedboat. However, as the Sharktopus closes in on the boat, the boat makes a turn and accidentally destroys the electrical impulse collar and is removed by the Sharktopus, who goes on a rampage. It's Hunts. Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda In the opening of Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, the Sharktopus first appears in a flashback where it is killing its victims in the first movie and explodes, leaving behind an eggsack which washed away into the sea. Later, marine biologist Lorena Christmas finds said eggsack that contains an infant Sharktopus. She begins raising it at her greedy uncle's aquarium to mixed success. After it escaped, it started killing until it encounters another hybrid called the Pteracuda. Throughout the movie, they kill people and fight each other. The military plans to kill the Sharktopus and the Pteracuda with a bomb, but the plan only succeeded in killing the latter while the former retreats at the last possible second. Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf The Sharktopus was still at large following the events of Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, eating swimmers and fishermen along the Dominican Republic shores. As it continues causing havoc, Ray and Pablo are enlisted by voodoo priest Tiny to chase after the Sharktopus and obtain the creature's heart. Meanwhile, mad scientist Dr. Reinhart mixes the genes of a killer whale and a gray wolf to mutate Felix Rose, an aging baseball player, into a hybrid called the Whalewolf. It escapes its containment and begins a man-eating spree, occasionally battling against the Sharktopus. At the baseball stadium, the Whalewolf ultimately defeats the Sharktopus by tossing it into a billboard, electrocuting it to death. However, at the end of the film, having collected the creature's heart, Tiny conducts a ritual that creates a new Sharktopus. Sharktopus (2010) • Dr. Nathan Sands (played by Eric Roberts): The brilliant but arrogant lead genetic scientist of the Blue Water project who refuses to let the military destroy his "perfect" creation, ultimately leading to his own demise. • Nicole Sands (played by Sara Malakul Lane): Nathan’s daughter and a fellow scientist who opposes her father's reckless obsession and helps track the beast down. • Andy Flynn (played by Kerem Bürsin): A rugged former mercenary hired by Sands to track down and neutralize the rogue Sharktopus. • Stacy Everheart (played by Liv Boughn): An ambitious television reporter attempting to get exclusive, bloody footage of the creature's rampage. • Bones (played by Héctor Jiménez): Stacy's unlucky, terrified camera operator. • Commander Cox (played by Peter Nelson): The strict U.S. Navy officer overseeing the Blue Water project who wants the hybrid contained or destroyed. Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda (2014) • Dr. Lorena Christmas (played by Katie Savoy): A dedicated marine biologist who discovers a surviving Sharktopus egg sac, raises the baby creature, and trains it using positive reinforcement. • Dr. Rico Symes (played by Robert Carradine): The unscrupulous CEO of Symodyne, the tech company responsible for creating the Pteracuda weapon. • Hamilton (played by Rib Hillis): Symes' heavily armed head of security who takes charge of tracking down the rogue Pteracuda. • Vladimir Futon (played by Akari Endo): A rogue Symodyne scientist who hacks into the Pteracuda's brain control chip to cause mass destruction. Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf (2015) • Dr. Reinhart (played by Catherine Oxenberg): A mad scientist who splices killer whale and wolf DNA to create the Whalewolf. • Ray Brady (played by Casper Van Dien): A down-on-his-luck boat captain who gets caught in the crossfire of the monster battle. • Felix Rose (played by Mario Arturo Hernández): An aging baseball player who undergoes experimental gene therapy by Dr. Reinhart, accidentally mutating into the Whalewolf. • Tiny (played by Tony Almont): A local voodoo priest who seeks to steal the heart of the Sharktopus to harvest its power.
