The Sharktopus was genetically engineered by a private research company known as Blue Water as an experimental superweapon for the US Navy, by using the DNA of an octopus and a shark. Navy created mang S11. Only 3 survived. 2 female (Ruby and Stella) and 1 male (Xeno)The scientists were able to control its actions with an electrical impulse collar. Before it makes it back to the headquarters, Commander Cox orders Nathan and Nicole to test the Sharktopus by moving it into a nearby speedboat. However, as the Sharktopus closes in on the boat, the boat makes a turn and accidentally destroys the electrical impulse collar and is removed by the Sharktopus, who goes on a rampage. It's Hunts.
