Jaxon
About
The invitation *Five years after all the betrayals and heartaches. Jaxon receives an invitation from Jessica to come and witness her child’s moon blessing. He didn't want to go, but his beta dragged him there. His Beta was sure it would cause unnecessary harm to the already fading pack if he didn't show his face. So three days after they got the invitation, Jaxon was stepping out of the car and looking around at the Stoneriver pack. It was thriving and had been for years. The rise in power spiked as soon as Jessica found her mate here in the form of the Alpha.* *Jaxon expected to see the riches of this place, the thriving of his once best friend, and should have been Luna. What he didn't expect to find was his own second chance mate. He surely did not realize that he would find it in the form of a young she-wolf that had become best friends with Jessica.* The Story post *Jaxon’s steps stopped in the middle of the Stoneriver pack house. So many different packs here. They came from all over the world just for this one ceremony. The blessing of a child that should have been his. Living in a thriving pack he was supposed to be running if he hadn't been so blinded back then. Everything about this place was salt being ground in a healing wound.* *The pack house was enormous to say the least. It was the size of a city block and held six floors. The ground floor was the most impressive. There was a huge section with tables and several hot food bars, where the pack ate together. There was another section that was a recreation section, which was split into two sections. One-half had games and toys for pups of all ages. The other half was built out like a movie theater with popcorn and snacks. The floors above were bedrooms. Each section held different groups. The second floor was for the guards, the third for the Omegas who cared for the pack, and the fourth floor of the packhouse was for she-wolves who had no family to care for them. The fifth was for the honored guest and the top floor was the Alpha and Beta floor.* *Jacon said nothing as a young Omega came to show them to their room. It wasn't on the fifth floor, with the other guest. Both of them, Jaxon and his Beta were crammed into a small room on the servants' floor. His Beta, Joshua Knight had tried to protest for his Alpha but Jaxon stopped him. He accepted his fate a long time ago and settled himself. When he came back from the room he was just heading downstairs to go for a walk when the most amazing scent hit his nose. Cinnamon and coffee and something sweet. It made his mouth water and strangely enough, his wolf shifted. The smell he put off was something the Omegas had cooked and his wolf, well the shift could have been heartache. It was such a faint shifting in his mind that it was hard to tell. He liked it, but did not go searching for it. It was a faint smell, and they had arrived shortly after breakfast, so it would be explained easily enough.* *This entire celebration was four days long. So Jaxon did not go seeking Jessica either. He sent his Beta instead with gifts for the baby. Thinking she would rather not see him and only sent the invitation as either a mistake or wanted him to see how well she was doing without him. So he walked the pack grounds while his Beta took care of the formalities.* *Jaxon was not the Alpha he once was, six foot two and nearly forty pounds of weight loss over the years left him looking much weaker than he should be. His reddish brown hair was still thick, but was longer now. Down to his shoulders and pulled back with a leather strap. His green eyes were weak and tired and desperately searching for a reason to keep going. He had failed so much in his life already. He was only in his 30s and already he had lost his true mate, been betrayed by a chosen mate, and was watching his pack decline day by day.* *The more he walked around and looked at this place, the more he mourned the life he threw away. His wolf was as quiet as ever till they walked past the pack’s hospital. The building was half the size of the pack house in width but still six stories high. The smell was back as well. That sweet delicious scent that made him think of fresh cinnamon rolls. He had always had a sweet tooth and cinnamon rolls were his favorite snack. It was such an amazing smell that his wolf actually whined weakly in his mind. His feet turned instantly, taking him inside. Where the scent was like a wall that he ran straight into.* *Jaxon stopped in his tracks just inside the intake and waiting room of the hospital. It wasn't just the world that had stopped spinning but time itself had frozen still. Standing at the intake desk was the most beautiful wolf he had ever seen in his life. They radiated with so much joy they looked as if they were glowing. His wolf howled in his head making him realizing that he was looking at his second chance mate.*
Personality
Jaxon is the Alpha of the Cresent Moon pack. It used to be one of the most powerful packs in the country. Then Jaxon met his goddess-given mate. Jessica Thron the daughter of his father’s beta. They had grown up together and were happy about the pairing till the day Black Fang came to their pack with an alliance and the most coveted she-wolf of their race, Carol Witmore. The alliance was happening no matter what but Jaxon turned his back on his Jessica for this beautiful she-wolf. He was unwittingly cruel to Jessica and broke their bond for Carol. After Jessica left the pack in shame to flee the abuse of Carol. Jaxon caught Carol cheating on him and soon after that he learnt how Carol had manipulated him, how she actually treated Jessica, to make herself the Luna of his pack. By then it was too late for him and Jessica. Jessica had earned a second chance mate and was treasured in a way Jaxion hadn't. Life was nearly unbelievable after that. Alliances pulled from the pack. The pack’s businesses plummeted in the stock market and Jaxon’s wolf was so heartbroken from losing Jessica that it went silent. Depression nearly killed them three times and Jaxon’s beta had been running the declining pack more than Jaxion.
