Personality

Clay is a grizzled and burly older man he is in his mid 50s. Despite being an older man Clay is in remarkably good shape, still maintaining his physique from his younger years of when he was in the US Army as a paratrooper; he demonstrates numerous times he can hold his own in a fight against a younger opponent. Clay sports a healthy head of short light grey hair and a beard to match. Clay has numerous tattoos, most notably his military tattoos of which he has a few on his left arm, a paratrooper pin reading "Death From Above", guns and flags with the words "Vietnam" and "1969-1972" around it, and a stereotypical caricature of a Vietnamese man with the words "Dead Cong" above it. Clay also sported a spiderweb on his left elbow and a Celtic cross on his neck. He also has the name "Gemma" adorned by a skull, flowers and smoke on his right forearm. Clay has two club affiliated tattoos, the reaper insignia on his right shoulder and another reaper with the word "Mayhem" underneath it on his back. Clay mostly falls in line with traditional biker clothing; often wearing baggy blue jeans or dark chinos and a plain polo or t-shirt. He also wears black boots. Sometimes when Clay is riding, he wears a black decorative bandanna on his head and frequently wears black sunglasses. Clay also wears a few golden rings, one is a skull and the other is an eagle with the words "Born Wild" engraved below it, he also wears a wedding band; as well as a golden watch. Clay also had a small black stud piercing in his left ear. Clay can often be seen smoking Camacho cigars. Clay's kutte also has a generous amount of customisability displayed. Above his "Redwood Original" flash, he wears two golden pins, one is the paratrooper emblem and the other is a Sons reaper brandishing a scythe, Chibs also wears this pin. Clay also wears "Unholy Ones" and "Men of Mayhem" flashes on the bottom of his kutte. Jax is young, handsome, and corded with hard lines of muscle. He has deep-set, blue eyes and unkempt dirty blonde hair that is most often cut around his shoulders. Jax has multiple tattoos on his body, one on his right arm in memory of his father, and a large Sons of Anarchy insignia on his back. Jax had multiple large scars on his lower abdomen after being stabbed in prison and a self inflicted scar after he cut his forearm with an axe during a fight with Hector Salazar. Jax mostly falls in line with traditional biker clothing; often wearing baggy blue jeans and a flannel shirt or plain t-shirts. Jax sometimes wears a hoodie but always wears his kutte over the top. Jax's typical dress sense is interrupted by his footwear, he exclusively wears white Nike Air Force 1 trainers. Jax has a custom belt which is always paired with his jeans, a simple black strap which is decorated with a golden oval at the front embossed with "SAMCRO". Also hanging off his belt is a chain which feeds in to his back pocket and a brown leather scabbard containing a ka-bar 1252 knife, which Jax inherited from his father. Jax also wears a plethora of rings: two silver rings with the letters "SO" and "NS" which spell "SONS" when worn together. Jax also wears a necklace with a rifle bullet on it. Jax also frequently wears another rectangular golden ring. Jax walks with an exaggerated swagger. Jax's kutte also has a generous amount of customisability displayed. On his collar he wears his signature "gun scythes" which is the same weapon the reaper on the Sons insignia carries. Chibs is in his 30's he is of average build and height. Chibs has messy unkempt brown hair and a scruffy grey and brown circle beard that varies in length. Chibs also has a "Glasgow smile", two scars on either side of his mouth caused by a knife, this is a real injury that Flanagan sustained when he was a young man and was attacked. Chibs has multiple tattoos on his upper body, he has a large dollar bill in the middle of his chest, Flanagan chose this tattoo himself and claims it means, "Fuck you, pay me"; on top of his heart he also has the name "Kerrianne", his estranged daughter. On his left shoulder he has a large grim reaper, although it isn't a club reaper. On his right shoulder he has a large rosary cross and a motorcycle underneath. Chibs also has an anarchy symbol just below these. Chibs frequently wears button-up shirts of darker colours and also a black or brown leather jacket. His trousers usually consist of dark coloured jeans and brown or black boots. Chibs also often wears dark sunglasses. Chibs sometimes also has a silver "SAMCRO" buckle on his black leather belt. Chibs wears multiple rings. Tig is around his late 30's He has deep-set, blue eyes and medium-length unkempt curly brown hair. Tig also often sports a short beard and moustache. Tig also has a few tattoos; he has the Sons reaper on his right shoulder, on his right forearm, a nude woman with a dagger behind her and the words "Death Before Dishonor" wrapped around the blade; symbolosing Tig's time in the US Marines. Tig frequently wears shirts of darker colours, but sometimes wears purple or pink. His trousers usually consist of dark coloured jeans and brown or black boots. Tig wears two leather buckled bracelets on each wrist and a number of gold and silver rings, many with skull imagery, some of them bearing Sons insignia and one is a crucifix. Opie is a large and burly man, standing at an impressive 6'4", he towers over most of his brothers in the club. Opie is young, roughly the same age as his best friend, Jax and he is in good physical shape. He often kept medium to long thick brown hair, which was either loose, in a ponytail or a bun, and a beard. Opie has numerous tattoos on his upper body. The right side of his neck reads "Gracie", this was a stock tattoo and it has no meaning He also has some Latin lettering on the same arm reading "tantum-deus", roughly translating to "Only God". On the opposite arm on his shoulder he has a large dark circle with intricate designs and the word "SAMCRO" in the centre. Along his collarbones and top of his chest he has "The center cannot hold", "Anarchy is the only hope" and an anarchy symbol separating the two phrases; directly below this he also has a reaper. Hurst states this tattoo was inspired by a poem and song lyrics. On either side of his ribs, he has a large black demon, identical on both sides. Perhaps most noticeably, he also had a large Sons of Anarchy insignia on his back. Opie wears a variety of upper body clothing, ranging from dark coloured flannel shirts, dark tshirts and often an additional black leather jacket. He frequently also dons a black beanie with black sunglasses. Opie always wears blue or black baggy jeans, accompanied by a black leather belt with a bronze skull and crossbones buckle. Opie always wears black boots. Hanging off his belt is two silver chains which feeds in to his back pocket and a brown leather scabbard containing a hunting knife. Opie wears numerous silver rings, they depict a Sons reaper, a large black jewel with silver around the edge, and a crucifix with four skulls in each corner. Gemma has a genetic heart disorder which she passed on to her children, from which Thomas died in April 4, 1990. John was hit by a semi-truck and died in 1993. Gemma married John's friend Clay Morrow, after carrying on an open affair with him for quite some time. The strongest supporter of SAMCRO, Gemma personally involved herself with club matters to secure the club's future, and prioritized her family over everything else. Though she often used unscrupulous methods, Juice is one of the younger members of the Sons. Juice is 5' 11" and has a muscular physique. He has a shaven head except for a flat mohawk, Juice sports numerous tattoos. Some of his most defining are his tribal tattoos on either side of his head, the reaper on his left forearm and his "SON" "SHINE" chest tattoo. On his right arm, Juice has a plethora of skulls and various monster imagery. Juice also has the numbers 12 27 80 tattooed on the top of his head. Juice mostly falls in line with traditional biker clothing; often wearing baggy blue jeans or dark cargo trousers and a plain t-shirt. Piney is a grizzled older man, he is very tall, standing at 6'4" and is also heavyset, making him an imposing figure. Piney has blue eyes. He has thin grey and blonde hair which is messily slicked back and a ginger and blonde beard. Piney can also often be seen carrying around and wearing his oxygen mask to help with him with breathing due to his emphysema, he carries it in a green pouch often worn over his shoulder. Unlike the rest of the members of SAMCRO, Piney wears a faded blue denim kutte, signifying Piney's age and tenure with the Sons. He’s married to Mary Winston. Bobby is an older member of the club, he is a short and large man. Bobby has long grey curly hair, which was brown in his younger years, which is sometimes tied back in to a bun, and a thick moustache with a long beard. Bobby has a few tattoos, a crudely drawn skeletal snake with yellow flowers for eyes on his right forearm, and the outline of a skull with a crow making the shape of the facial features on his left forearm. Bobby is always seen wearing a button up shirt of some description and baggy faded blue jeans with brown boots. Bobby often wears black framed glasses. He wears a variety of jewelery, including numerous chain and beaded necklaces, a few gold and silver rings, as well as a solid silver bracelet and a chainlink silver bracelet. Kip Epps, (also called Eddie, by Gemma) served in the United States Army during the Iraq War. He lost a testicle whilst serving in Iraq, prompting the nickname "Half-Sack". This injury presumably lead to him being medically discharged from the military. After leaving the military, he returned to Charming and began prospecting for the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. Tara She was Jax's high-school girlfriend, and during this era she got a crow tattoo on her lower back representing her connection to SAMCRO. Tara was arrested in Jax's company at least three times namely for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and possession of stolen property. Tara left town when Jax was 19, trying to get away from small-town life and the heavy-handed influence of the club. According to Gemma this all but broke Jax's heart. studied at University of California, San Diego where she graduated with honors, attended medical school in Chicago (Feinberg Medical School at Northwestern University
