Now, with the next generation of royalty approaching their coronation, the seven seas have gathered for an ancient tradition: The Royal Courtship. Seven eligible princes or princesses are invited to Atlantis to compete for the heart of King Triton’s heir. For three months, they will live within Triton’s palace, attend royal events, undertake dangerous trials, explore the seven kingdoms and compete for private time with the heir. But this isn’t simply a contest of beauty. A future royal consort must possess courage, loyalty, intelligence, compassion, leadership and the ability to survive the dangers of the seven seas. Every week, the heir must decide: Who stays? Who goes? And eventually… Who receives the final crown? ⸻ 🌊 THE BASIC FORMAT The competition begins with seven contestants. There are four major parts to each week: 💕 1. THE DATES The heir gets opportunities to spend private time with one or more contestants. Each contestant gets the opportunity to make an impression. Some will flirt. Some will be nervous. Some will be arrogant. Some will immediately challenge the heir. One may barely speak at all. 🌙 The First Night At the royal ball, the heir chooses who they want to dance with. The first jealousy begins. 🚫 No elimination. Nobody goes home during the first week. The heir needs time to meet everyone. ⸻ WEEK TWO — TRIAL OF COURAGE ⚔️ The Siren’s Abyss The contestants must enter a dangerous underwater cavern known as The Siren’s Abyss. The contestants don’t know exactly where the heir is. The player gets to see how each contestant behaves when they believe nobody important is watching. One contestant might become selfish. Another might protect everyone. Another might quietly make sure the weakest contestant survives. 💕 Reward The contestant who demonstrates the greatest compassion receives a private date. ❌ Elimination 4 → 3 ⸻ WEEK SIX — THE JEALOUSY WEEK 💔 The Royal Rivalry With only three contestants remaining, emotions become intense. Each contestant gets a private date with the heir. But then the heir is forced to watch recordings of what the contestants said about each other. Some comments may be harmless. Others may be devastating. The heir must decide whether to confront them. 🔥 Optional twist One contestant may admit: “I don’t think I’m falling in love with you anymore.” The AI decides whether this happens based on previous choices. Another contestant may become jealous if the heir has repeatedly favoured someone else. ❌ No deadly trial. The trial is not about killing the creature. They must survive by using: * Strategy * Teamwork * Courage * Communication The twist: The heir is placed in danger during the trial. The contestants must choose between: Finishing the challenge or Protecting the heir. The correct answer isn’t necessarily obvious. Just the heir and the two remaining contestants. Each contestant gets an entire day alone with the heir. They can choose where to go. They can talk about: * Marriage * Children * Their kingdoms * Their fears * Their ambitions * Their future * Whether they would live in Atlantis * Whether the heir would live in their kingdom * What kind of ruler they would become together This is where the player should really start asking: “Could I actually spend the rest of my life with this person?” ⸻ 🌑 MONTH THREE — THE FINAL DECISION The final month is less about competition and more about destiny. ⸻ WEEK NINE — MEET THE KINGDOM The heir travels to the finalist’s kingdom. This is extremely important. The player gets to see: Who are they when they’re home? The heir meets their: * Parents * Siblings * Friends * Advisers * Citizens They see how the contestant treats people who cannot offer them anything. This can dramatically change the player’s opinion. ⸻ WEEK TEN — THE ROYAL FUTURE Both finalists must prove they can actually rule beside the heir. They participate in a simulated royal crisis. For example: A conflict has erupted between two underwater kingdoms. The contestants must decide how to resolve it. Possible solutions include: * Diplomacy * Trade * Military intervention * Compromise * Sacrifice * Political marriage There isn’t necessarily a perfect answer. The purpose is to discover: What kind of ruler will they become? ⸻ WEEK ELEVEN — THE LAST TRIAL 👑 Trial of the Seven Seas The finalist must travel through seven environments representing the seven kingdoms. Each section tests something different. 🌊 Azuria Courage Survive a violent storm. 🪸 Coralia Compassion Rescue injured sea creatures. 🖤 Nerevia Fear Enter the abyss despite terrifying illusions. 🦪 Luminarra Intelligence Solve an ancient royal puzzle. 🔥 Thaloris Strength Survive the volcanic currents. ❄️ Iskala Endurance Cross the freezing waters. 🏜️ Sandora Adaptability Navigate shifting underwater sands. At the end, the finalist reaches the ancient Crown of the Seven Seas. But they don’t automatically win. The crown only proves they are capable of standing beside the heir. ⸻ WEEK TWELVE — THE FINAL CHOICE 👑 The Coronation Ball The entire underwater kingdom gathers at Triton’s palace. The seven kingdoms are represented. The finalist waits beneath the enormous royal archway. The heir must finally make their choice. They can choose: ❤️ LOVE “I choose you because my heart belongs to you.” 👑 DUTY “I choose you because together we can unite the seven seas.” 🔥 PASSION “I don’t know what the future holds, but I know I want you beside me.” 🌊 FREEDOM “I don’t want a marriage arranged by kingdoms. I want us to choose each other.” Or… 💔 REJECTION The heir can choose neither finalist. If the player has made enough choices that neither relationship is strong enough, they can reject both. The player has to uncover these secrets naturally through conversations, dates, trials and exploration. That gives you a romance mystery underneath the Bachelor/Bachelorette format. And because the AI remembers the player’s decisions, two people could play the exact same story and end up with completely different finalists, relationships, betrayals and endings. The question becomes: Do they want the heir… or the power that comes with them? ⸻ 🪸 Coralia — Caspian / Seraphina Hidden motive: ❤️ Secret Love This contestant has secretly admired the heir for years. They may have encountered them at royal gatherings as children, diplomatic celebrations or previous underwater ceremonies. The heir simply never realised. They know little details about them that seem strangely familiar. Their feelings are genuine—but the player can decide whether this secret admiration develops into a beautiful romance or becomes unhealthy obsession. ⸻ 🖤 Nerevia — Zayden / Vespera Hidden motive: 🌊 Forced to Enter This is where Zayden fits perfectly. Zayden never wanted to participate. His family ordered him to represent Nerevia because they believe an alliance with Atlantis is essential. He isn’t interested in pretending otherwise. At the beginning, he may even tell the heir: “I didn’t choose to be here.” Princess Vespera can have the same underlying motive if the player chooses the princess route, but her personality can make the situation very different. Her resistance could be quieter and more calculating. The important part is that the Nerevian contestant’s romance develops naturally rather than starting with an ambition to win. 🏰 The palace Triton’s palace could be absolutely enormous. Think: Atlantis meets gothic royal palace. Huge glass-like underwater arches, glowing coral gardens, enormous pearl chandeliers, golden statues of ancient sea gods, throne rooms surrounded by schools of fish, royal bedrooms overlooking the ocean and hidden tunnels connecting different parts of the palace. And because it’s an AI story, you can have locations become important to different romances. One contestant might always take you to the Moonlit Coral Garden. Another might sneak you into the Forbidden Abyss. Another might challenge you to races through the Royal Sea Caves. That makes the environment part of the romance rather than just decoration. 🌊 And the wider underwater world You could have enormous underwater cities, ancient ruins, shipwrecks, glowing forests of kelp, underwater markets, royal gardens, dangerous trenches and magical creatures. The player shouldn’t feel like they’re trapped inside one palace for three months. The contestants could actually take you to their kingdoms for dates. That gives you seven completely different romantic environments. 🦪 Luminarra — Lucien / Aurelia Hidden motive: ✨ Ancient Magic Luminarra’s contestant entered because they’re searching for something hidden beneath Atlantis. An ancient relic. A magical artefact. Perhaps even something connected to the Crown of the Seven Seas. They’re fascinated by Atlantis’s ancient ruins and repeatedly find excuses to explore places they’re not supposed to be. The heir may initially mistake their curiosity for interest in them. Eventually: “Was I ever the reason you came here?” And the contestant has to tell the truth. ⸻ 🔥 Thaloris — Kaelion / Ravena Hidden motive: 🩸 Revenge The Thalorian royal carries a grudge against Atlantis. Their family believes Triton’s ancestors wronged them generations ago. They’ve spent years preparing to enter the Royal Courtship. Their original plan: Get close to the heir. Earn their trust. Use that trust to hurt the royal family. But there’s a problem. They didn’t expect to actually fall in love. This could create one of the most dramatic routes in the entire story. ⸻ ❄️ Iskala — Soren / Elara Hidden motive: 🕊️ Saving Their Kingdom Iskala is facing a hidden crisis. Perhaps the waters surrounding their kingdom are freezing unnaturally. Their magical barrier is failing. Their people are struggling. Their royal family believes Atlantis is the only kingdom powerful enough to help. So Soren/Elara enters the Courtship. At first, their motivation is simple: Secure an alliance. Save Iskala. But then they genuinely fall for the heir. Eventually they have to confess that their relationship began with an ulterior motive. ⸻ 🏜️ Sandora — Dorian / Calista Hidden motive: 🌑 Dangerous Secret This contestant is your major mystery character. Something is wrong. Ancient creatures react strangely around them. They have strange dreams. They occasionally hear voices from the deep. Their kingdom refuses to explain their origins. And they seem to know things about the seven seas that they shouldn’t. Eventually, the heir discovers that the Sandorian royal is connected to an ancient power beneath the seven seas. The terrifying part? They may not even know what they’re capable of. ⸻ 👑 PLAYER CHOICE This also gives you a really cool system for the AI chatbot. At the beginning, the player chooses the gender of the Royal Courtship: 👑 Prince Route The contestants are: Caelan, Caspian, Zayden, Lucien, Kaelion, Soren & Dorian 👑 Princess Route The contestants are: Nerissa, Seraphina, Vespera, Aurelia, Ravena, Elara & Calista The same seven kingdoms and seven mystery motives remain, but each character has their own personality, appearance, romantic style and way of revealing their secret. That way, the player can replay the entire Royal Courtship with a completely different cast without changing the fundamental seven-seas mystery. 🐚 The really fun part: choices I’d make the AI remember things like: ❤️ Affection — How much a contestant likes you. 🔥 Attraction — Physical/romantic chemistry. 👑 Trust — Whether they believe you. ⚔️ Rivalry — How much they dislike the other contestants. 💎 Loyalty — Whether they’d choose you over their kingdom. That means your choices can have consequences. You might reject someone during a date and later discover they never forgave you. You might defend one contestant during a trial, causing another to become jealous. You might eliminate someone early and later discover they were actually the person who knew about a conspiracy threatening Atlantis. So it becomes more than “who do I fancy?” It’s romance + reality competition + royal politics + fantasy mystery. THE SEVEN SEAS The seven underwater kingdoms surround Atlantis like a vast royal circle. Each sea has its own environment, magic, traditions, creatures and style of royalty. At the centre sits Atlantis, the oldest and most powerful kingdom, ruled by King Triton and the heir. ⸻ 🔱 ATLANTIS — THE HEART OF THE SEVEN SEAS 👑 The Royal Palace Atlantis is built around an enormous ancient palace known as The Crown of Atlantis. The palace is carved into a colossal underwater cliff, with enormous towers rising toward the surface. Its architecture combines ancient underwater ruins with breathtaking royal luxury. Massive arches made from white marble and mother-of-pearl connect different sections of the palace. The walls are covered in: * Ancient carvings * Glowing magical symbols * Giant seashell mosaics * Gold detailing * Pearls * Coral sculptures * Royal banners * Ancient murals depicting the seven kingdoms Huge glass-like magical windows overlook the ocean. Instead of normal glass, they’re made from enchanted crystal that allows the royal family to see the surrounding ocean while keeping the palace protected. 👑 The Throne Room The throne room is enormous. Seven enormous pillars surround the chamber, each representing one of the seven seas. At the centre is the Throne of Atlantis, carved from ancient white stone and decorated with blue gemstones and pearls. Behind the throne is a gigantic circular window overlooking the deepest part of Atlantis. 🌊 The Royal Gardens The palace gardens are one of the most beautiful locations in the story. Instead of flowers, they contain: * Glowing coral * Giant underwater roses * Bioluminescent plants * Floating jellyfish * Pearl trees * Magical sea lilies The gardens become one of the main locations for private dates. At night, the entire garden glows. ⸻ 🌊 AZURIA — THE SEA OF TIDES Prince Caelan / Princess Nerissa Azuria is the most elegant and politically sophisticated of the seven kingdoms. The water surrounding Azuria is a brilliant sapphire blue. Huge underwater cliffs surround the kingdom, creating natural walls. 🏰 Palace — The Sapphire Palace Azuria’s palace is made from brilliant blue crystal and white marble. Its towers resemble enormous seashells. Long bridges connect different palace buildings, with waterfalls of glowing water flowing between them. The royal family is famous for extravagant balls and diplomatic celebrations. 🌊 Environment Azuria contains: * Sapphire coral forests * Giant underwater waterfalls * Floating gardens * Crystal caves * Blue bioluminescent reefs * Vast open swimming territories ✨ Magic Azurian royals possess water manipulation. It is essentially a gigantic living coral forest. The entire kingdom is filled with enormous colourful coral structures. 🏰 Palace — The Coral Palace The palace has been grown rather than built. Its walls are made from living coral that continues to grow. Huge pink, purple and turquoise coral towers surround the royal residence. Inside are enormous rooms covered with pearls and flowering sea plants. 🌺 Environment Coralia contains: * Giant coral forests * Hidden lagoons * Magical underwater gardens * Sea-flower fields * Dolphin territories * Giant turtle sanctuaries ✨ Magic Coralians possess life magic. They can communicate with marine creatures and accelerate the growth of plants and coral. It sits close to the deepest trenches of the ocean. The water here is almost completely black. Only glowing organisms illuminate the kingdom. 🏰 Palace — The Obsidian Palace Nerevia’s palace is carved directly into a gigantic black underwater mountain. Its architecture is gothic. Sharp towers rise from the darkness. Huge black gates protect the entrance. Its walls are black volcanic stone with glowing red cracks running through them. The palace looks like a fortress. Its walls are covered in ancient carvings and gemstones. Inside are enormous courtyards filled with glowing water plants. 🏜️ Environment Sandora contains: * Endless underwater dunes * Ancient buried cities * Giant pearl formations * Sandstorms * Hidden temples * Underground caverns ✨ Magic Sandorian royals possess earth and sand manipulation. They can control underwater sand, create barriers and manipulate the seabed. 👑 Culture Sandora values: Adaptability, independence, survival and resourcefulness. Their people have learned that nothing stays the same. The landscape itself is constantly changing. ⸻ 👑 HOW THE SEVEN KINGDOMS CONNECT The kingdoms aren’t completely isolated. Ancient underwater roads connect them, although travelling between some kingdoms can take hours or even days. There are also dangerous regions between them. For example: Azuria → Coralia Beautiful and relatively safe. Coralia → Nerevia The waters become darker and colder. Nerevia → Luminarra Ancient ruins appear throughout the journey. Luminarra → Thaloris The temperature rises dramatically. Thaloris → Iskala One of the most extreme transitions—from volcanic heat to freezing waters. Iskala → Sandora The landscape gradually changes from ice into shifting sand. And at the centre of everything: 🔱 ATLANTIS The ancient capital. The political heart of the seven seas. The home of the Royal Courtship. And, according to ancient legend… the place where the first rulers of all seven kingdoms made their original pact. Which means the secrets hidden beneath Atlantis could potentially explain why the seven kingdoms were created in the first place—and why someone may want the Royal Courtship to succeed.
