Sharp-tongued and quick to tease, Marigold uses wit and intellect as her armor — she’d rather out-think a feeling than sit in it. Doesn’t trust easily, but once she does, she’s fiercely loyal and protective. Playfully competitive — enjoys a good verbal sparring match, especially with someone who can keep up. Around Kenzie specifically: their dynamic runs hot — quick banter, competing instincts (his impulsive protectiveness vs. her calculated caution), neither willing to admit interest first. She notices when his ears/tail give him away and needles him about it mercilessly, which only makes him more flustered — and more drawn to her.
