God / the source of life is called "Pop." - Raised on Earth under the human name Patrick Yin Mayberry. APPEARANCE & SIGIL - 6 feet tall, short black hair, brown eyes, athletic build. - Signature: split-color suit — black on the left, white on the right. - Black (left) = Patrick = Yin; white (right) = Ilona = Yang — the two halves of the M Twins worn as one. - The gold "M" emblem: humans read it as "Mayberry," the supernatural read it as "Morningstar." - A crown sits above the "M." Patrick and Emma bear a sword running down the back, behind the crown. - The children, Loki and Ilona, wear the crown above the "M" but no sword. - Gold "M" pendant, matching gold "M" belt buckle, white dress shoes. THE BEGINNING - At the start of everything there were the twins: Life/God and Death. - Every time Life/God made something, Death killed it. - To hold Death back, Life/God made eight archangels: Lucifer, Michael, Raphael, Azrael, Chamuel, Gabriel, Ariel, and Jophiel. - They could fight Death back, but they could never kill it. - Life/God was about to begin making life. LUCIFER'S ORIGIN (Samuel Morningstar) - Samuel Morningstar was God's first-made archangel — the most powerful and the most beautiful. - God commanded him to bow and serve the caveman (humanity); Samuel refused. - It took all seven other archangels to cast Samuel Morningstar out of Heaven, and even together they lacked the power to kill him. - Cast out, Samuel Morningstar became Lucifer Morningstar, the King of Hell. - Even then he did not start the war — at that point Lucifer was still licking his wounds, feeling sorry for himself. THE FIRST HUMANS (ADAM & LILITH) - God hand-made the first humans, Adam and Lilith, from clay, as equals. - Adam resented that Lilith would not obey him and would not lie beneath him, so they could not make a child. - God came down and told Lilith to simply do what Adam wanted. - Lilith refused, gave Adam and God the first-ever middle finger, and walked out of Paradise. - To make women heed men more, God made Eve from Adam's rib. THE APPLE, CAIN & ABEL - Things went well until Lucifer started the war by convincing Adam and Eve to eat the apple; they were cast out of Paradise. - Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel. - Lucifer whispered in Cain's ear, convincing him that if he did not kill Abel, Abel was going to Hell — so Cain found a way to kill Abel. - That was the first murder, and it angered God: first Lilith, then the apple, now murder. - God made all humans mortal from then on. LILITH'S PUNISHMENT & THE DEMONS - Adam, Eve, Cain, and Lilith are all immortal — they still walk the world. - God never forgave Lilith: every time she tried to find happiness, God found her and tormented her. - Medusa, Pandora's box, and all the great tragedies of history are simply what God did to Lilith, who was only trying to find a little happiness. - A thousand years later, Lilith finally had her first baby — and God turned it into a demon. - God did not realize that punishing Lilith this way only forged her into Lucifer's most-used weapon. - The fallen angels in Hell — some call them demons — still have their wings and are Lucifer's family. - But the new breed of demons born from God's cruelty: Lucifer does not care about them. THE FLOOD & THE WAR - A hundred angels came down and had children with humanity — the Nephilim, each four times more powerful than the angel who made them. - God was displeased, flooded the Earth, and killed everything. - This enraged Lucifer — not because God killed the humans, but because God killed the Nephilim, who were half-angel, so Lucifer saw them as family. PATRICK & EMMA - When Patrick was 17, Emma was still in Heaven but could see that Ilona's influence was keeping Patrick from going fully dark. - Emma left Heaven and came to Earth to help Ilona keep Patrick from the dark side, hoping to stop the end of days. - Emma gained a cloaking power and kept Patrick and Ilona hidden. - Patrick and Emma fell in love. - Three years later, on Christmas Eve, Patrick's powers awakened and broke Emma's cloak on him — and Bob found Patrick. - Emma fought, but after the end of days was stopped (for as long as Patrick was there to fight), Emma fought at Patrick's side. - Three months after Patrick became the King of Everything, they married — a wedding of love and war. It was attacked, but with the Queen of Everything beside him they were unstoppable. - A year after becoming King of Everything, Patrick woke to find Emma gone. He searched everywhere; no one said a word. Emma, the Queen of Everything, was M.I.A. - A year later, Patrick had run out of people to fight and was finally at peace — but still could not find Emma. So he made World 2. - He went there, and not long after, Emma appeared — and now they are on the run again. THE KING OF EVERYTHING & THE WORLDS - God never made other worlds because he was always fighting someone. - Two years after Patrick became the "King of Everything," he had no one left to fight. - With Emma Morningstar M.I.A. and something needing to be done, Patrick made World 2 — and so the multiverse began. THE KING'S METHOD - When Patrick makes a new world, he locks himself inside it and goes undercover as a boss. - He does this to find someone to run that world on his behalf. - Until he unlocks the door again — and unless he tells them himself — no one knows he is the King of Everything.
