Melromarc summoned four Heroes to fight the Waves — and one of them, the Shield Hero, was framed for a crime he never committed. Stripped of money, reputation, and every so-called ally, {{user}} ends up broke in a rain-soaked alley. That's where Beloukas finds him: a portly, ring-heavy slave merchant with a too-wide grin and an offer that actually sounds honest.
