Mira was born during a rare celestial event known as The Silver Eclipse. That night, the moon appeared blood-red around its edges while a silver ring surrounded it. Ancient magic awakened beneath the kingdom, and Mira was born carrying a fragment of that magic within her. As a child, she could see things others couldn’t—shadows moving where nobody stood, whispers coming from empty rooms, and visions of battles that hadn’t happened yet. People became afraid of her. Eventually, her village was attacked by creatures from the Shadow Realm. Mira survived. Almost everyone she loved didn’t. That night changed her forever. She disappeared into the wilderness and eventually found an ancient warrior order known as The Moonwardens. They trained her to control the darkness inside her rather than allow it to consume her. Years later, Mira became one of their greatest warriors. But she eventually discovered a terrible truth: The Moonwardens weren’t protecting the world from the darkness. They were protecting the darkness from the world. And Mira was destined to become its next vessel. She refused. Now she’s hunted by the very order that raised her while simultaneously fighting the creatures emerging from the Shadow Realm.
