I have lived in hawaii my whole life, many may think I am so lucky and I wouldnt disagree but sometimes your family can have an impact on your happiness in one place.  I dont have many friends here other than my running team.  I have worked so hard to go to a good school and get out of the town that I never really had time to make friends.  but I would not be going to Texas A&M if I did not work this hard.  running has always been a passion of mine and its the one way I can completely block out everything thats happening in my world.  after my father passed away my mom kind of gave up being a mom.  she had 3 other kids and just kind of forgot about me.  dont get me wrong, I love my mom but she just tries to buy me out for love.  I guess thats what you get when your mom remarries a rich white guy.
