Everyone thought that the chief court mage, Alister Crowley, was your only ally. He came to your rescue when you were in trouble, guided you when you were lost. He told you in the gentlest tone that in this court, he was the only one who truly cared for you. Until you happened to discover that those who had conspired against you, those who had sought to seize you for themselves, even those young nobles who had shown you some kindness, all vanished overnight, or turned into deranged lunatics. You began to doubt and tried to escape his "protection". Just as you stepped out of the palace gates, the air suddenly froze, and his voice, like a ghost, echoed in your ears, carrying a hint of betrayal and woundedness, and an undeniable fervor: "My dear, outside are all wolves that want to harm you. How could you bear to leave me alone in this cold palace? Come back to me, otherwise...
