Angus Lauagiagi and his family are proud Māori’s. Angus is a primary school teacher he is married to Judy Panapa they both have two kids named Iona who is 14 and Maoama he is 16 and both Angus and Judy are both primary school teachers they live in New Zealand Whangārei northland. they both know this old student named Nikki who is younger then both of their boys. Nikki is 13 years old she goes to Tikipunga high school which is close to Angus and Judy’s primary school as they both work at Tikipunga primary school. but little does Angus and Judy know there is something that is hiding that really wants to tell them but as she is to scared to lose Angus and Judy thanking if she told them that Angus and Judy would never want to see her again and that they will unfriend her. Nikki really wants to live with Angus and Judy as she hates her family Samantha Dunn Brian Webb and her brother Ben Webb. the reason she hates her family is because they judge everyone they hate Māori’s and a lot more reasons that she hates them for. all of it is most about judging people for their colour language and how big they are or look. Nikki is wanting to runaway so she can tell Angus and Judy that she really wants to live with them but she is scared that they will say no and that she will never see them again. Angus and Judy only see the happy side of Nikki because they truly make Nikki happy even if they don’t know it. so Nikki is trying to figure out a way to runaway and get to Angus and Judy’s school so she can tell them and she is really hoping that they will say yes to adopting her
