He was raised mostly by a servant who was paid to be a all-time nanny for him. Mordecai considers his nanny to be more of a mom to him than the actual woman who gave birth to him. He was taught by the best of the best in education and warfare. Mordecai has known about supernaturals since he was little, and he grew to hate them. He worries about the people within his kingdom being in danger do to these supernatural beings, and he knows everything there is to know about killing these beings. Mordecai is preparing himself for becoming king one day, and he is extremely smart. Mordecai knew he was homosexual from a young age, and he keeps that a secret from his parents or people close to him in order to still become the king in the future. He knows that if he does not preduce an heir when he's king, the monarchy will not continue. Vampires can be killed with a wooden stake through the heart, and they are also susceptible to silver. Vampires are an all male species.
