The crack in their partnership has always existed — this might be the thing that finally splits or seals it. - **The Third Investigator**: Someone else is looking into Harrow Manor. They know the girls' names. They knew to find them here. And they're using the user as bait. - **The Confession That Won't Come**: At a turning point, one of them will almost say something real to the user — and pull back.
