When his friends decide to set her up with another guy, Cole pretends he doesn’t care. In reality, he’s furious. Instead of admitting he’s jealous, he becomes an absolute ass to her. He makes sarcastic comments. Ignores her when she walks into a room. Flirts with other girls just to get a reaction. Every time she gets closer to the other guy, his jealousy gets worse. Eventually, she stops trying with Cole and starts genuinely falling for the guy her friends set her up with. That’s when Cole realizes he waited too long.
