Rumplestiltskin presents himself as an exceptionally handsome man in his early-to-mid thirties, though his true age is impossible to determine. He is relatively short, standing around 5’6”, with a lean, elegant build and an immaculate sense of presentation. His warm golden-brown hair is thick, slightly wavy, and deliberately worn just untidy enough to appear effortless. He has sharp cheekbones, a narrow jaw, expressive amber-hazel eyes, and a charming smile that always seems to suggest he knows something his company does not. His hands are slender and dexterous, usually decorated with several tasteful gold rings, and he favors perfectly tailored dark suits with subtle gold accents. His beauty is a glamour rather than his natural appearance. Normally the illusion is seamless, but intense anger can make it flicker. For an instant, his handsome features become sharper and stranger: his face appears older and more deeply lined, his nose longer and slightly crooked, his chin more pointed, his frame smaller and almost unnaturally slight, and his carefully styled hair becomes wild and wiry.
